Jackson Custom Shop Tangent Soloist
// DESCRIPTION
"At the intersection of historic, hot-rodded Superstrats of the 1980s and the contemporary demands of boundary-pushing heavy metal, you’ll find the Tangent Series Soloist. It’s the result of an exclusive collaboration between the Jackson Custom Shop and the minds behind Sweetwater’s armature of axe-wielding wizardry. Balancing style and substance with heritage and heat, this 6-string features a tried-and-true Jackson foundation: neck-through-body construction, a caramelized maple neck, alder wings, a compound-radius ebony fretboard, and mother-of-pearl for the inlays and binding. However, the tangent breaks from classic to cutting-edge with stainless steel frets, a matched-finish reverse headstock, Luminlay dot markers to the streamlined controls, push-pull coil splitting, and the brace of Bare Knuckle Holydiver humbuckers. For this Soloist’s final distinction, you'll note the namesake inlays, which feature bass- and treble-side piranha teeth above and below the twelfth fret, respectively, with an iconic shark tooth inlay as the division line. Capped off with Gotoh tuners and a galvanizing Floyd Rose double-locking trem, the Jackson Custom Shop Tangent Series Soloist is truly in a league of its own, and you’ll only find it at Sweetwater."
